A Yankee Candle Christmas

The goal of this guerrilla campaign is to bring Yankee Candle Village out of Deerfield, MA and to Quincy Market/Faneuil Hall in Boston, MA. We can make the village big and in real-time whilst selling Yankee Candle products over a Christmas event one weekend in December.

Yankee Candle will decorate Quincy Market and sponsor the event to get everyone in the Christmas spirit, while engaging consumers with their candles, ornaments, Christmas dioramas, decorations and so on.

From Factory to City

Quincy Market also has an enormous Christmas tree on display. Yankee Candle could offer to decorate it with their own ornaments. Ornaments and Christmas decorations you see will all be available for purchase around the tree, just like the set-up they have at the village. We can also push the selling of holiday (and regular) candles around the market strategically.

Fun for All

Local Boston vendors around the city and within the market can get involved by selling food and their own products. There will also be fun things for kids to do such as see Santa Claus and his reindeer (Budget permitting), pop-up versions of Wax Works (Dip your own candle/hand wax/make your own candle that they let you do in the village), and much more! In order to get more people within the Boston community involved, we would also invite various acapella groups from Boston colleges and other Boston performers in the area to sing as carolers throughout the day.
